Waymon Reed manufactured and successfully tested the first prototype of the High-Rise Rescue System in October 1982.

The need for this technology was not realized until September 11, 2001

Now city, state and local governments are realizing a need for high-rise buildings to be more equipped to protect building occupants. CeaseFire Systems offers this solution.

Welcome to CeaseFire Systems, Inc

CeaseFire Systems, Inc. has designed, manufactured, tested and proven a means to deliver fully-equipped firemen to the scene of a high-rise emergency, while removing trapped occupants from a high-rise building.

CeaseFire was built in the early 1980’s, but the market lacked a sense of urgency.  After the events of 9/11, Homeland Security was in need of a system that could help evacuate people in the event of a catastrophe and the CeaseFire System was brought to the forefront.

CeaseFire High-Rise Emergency Rescue Systems furnish fire departments and high-rise first responders with state-of-the-art high-rise firefighting equipment. This equipment gives the firefighters an edge.  It transports them to the emergency site faster enabling the firefighters to manage crowd control, organize the disaster area, and rescue building occupants that are in an emergency situation.

The bottom of the Gondola is equipped with a water standpipe connection and the interior accommodates a water dispensing nozzle that swivels for fighting high-rise fires from within the Gondola.

The Gondola is equipped with a radiological, biological and chemical detection unit that help firemen combat terrorist should there be a terrorist attack on a high-rise building.
